Green Street Renovation & Addition
This Green Street home was transformed into a bright and functional coastal retreat through a full renovation and addition. The project added a sunroom, new bedroom, and full bathroom with custom tile and modern finishes, while wide-plank LVP flooring, new Andersen windows, and Mitsubishi HyperHeat systems provide comfort and efficiency year-round. Exterior upgrades included new roofing, siding, gutters, and a composite deck with vinyl railings, along with a custom outdoor shower that enhances the home’s coastal lifestyle. Peter Shield Bar Renovation
Cape May Contracting completed a full renovation of the Peter Shield Bar, transforming the space into a refined and inviting setting for guests while preserving the historic character of the property. The project included a complete redesign of the bar with a marble-look counter, mirrored shelving, and custom lighting that highlights the collection of spirits. Original millwork and trim were carefully restored and complemented with new finishes, wide-plank flooring, and elegant chandeliers to enhance the atmosphere. A modern fireplace was added as a focal point, creating a warm and intimate environment that blends seamlessly with the surrounding dining rooms. Coral Ave Renovation
Cape May Contracting completed a full interior renovation of this Coral Avenue home, transforming the kitchen, dining, and living spaces with custom details and high-end finishes. The project scope included new cabinetry, quartz countertops, a patterned tile backsplash, and a professional-grade Viking range with stainless steel appliances. Built-in cabinetry with glass-front displays and a custom window bench added both character and function to the dining area, while a three-sided fireplace with a floating wood mantel became the centerpiece of the living room. First Ave Window’s Walkage
Perched high above the rooftops, this custom-built widow’s walk offers panoramic views of the Cape May coastline, including direct sightlines to the lighthouse and surrounding beaches. The elevated platform features durable composite decking, a solid wood railing system, and classic coastal detailing that blends seamlessly with the home’s architecture. Designed for both function and style, the space serves as a private retreat for relaxing, entertaining, or enjoying sunsets over the ocean.
Village Green Duplex Renovation
This classic Village Green duplex was completely transformed through an extensive renovation and addition. Cape May Contracting handled the full project scope, from demolition to framing and finishes, bringing new life to this corner lot. The work included a full gut of the interior, new framing and roof systems, a large rear addition with vaulted ceilings, and a detached garage with custom masonry and a brick paver driveway. The final result features Hardie board siding, Andersen 400 Series windows, a new HVAC system, and fully updated interior finishes. Thoughtful landscaping and custom details throughout make this home a standout in the neighborhood.
Page St. Renovation
The revitalization project on Page St. involved transforming an old barn house managed by Steger Beach Service into a charming new residential property.
